Story
Waiting for Ming Kwong is a theatrical production that explores the theme of blindness—both literal and metaphorical—and how individuals face adversity in different ways. Some characters embrace their circumstances with optimism, while others struggle with a longing for the past. The play features visually impaired actors, Bao Xinyi and Ricky Tse, who integrate their personal experiences into their performances.
The production draws inspiration from Waiting for Godot, incorporating elements of absurdist theater to challenge existing perceptions of hardship, resilience, and the search for meaning. With music, storytelling, and artistic performances woven into the narrative, the play offers audiences a thought-provoking and immersive experience.
